Devices For Living

Borrow What You Need

Wyoming Assistive Technology Resources (WATR) is Wyoming’s Assistive Technology (AT) Act program. It is a free service for all Wyoming residents. WATR provides AT resources that include device loans, demonstrations, training and technical support, and other consultations.

Assistive technology can be used in a wide range of situations, including short-term and long-term health care, providing resources for the workplace, and supporting student educational needs.

How Do I Get an AT Device?

  1. Give us a call, send us an email, or complete the form above. A WATR representative will work with you to determine device options for you or your family members.
  2. Once you’ve selected a device, you can borrow it free of charge. We ship statewide but the return shipping costs are your responsibility. You may also return it in-person to our Laramie office.
  3. At the end of six weeks, you can either return the device to WATR (at your cost) and/or borrow a different device to try out. If you are interested in purchasing a device, WATR can help provide you with vendors, financing options, and other support.
